I am an operator, investor, Air Force Reserve leader, writer, and Christian who enjoys solving problems and investing in people.
I have never been especially comfortable calling myself an expert. The more repetitions I accumulate, the more aware I become of what I do not know. But those repetitions have produced lessons, frameworks, and pattern recognition that may be useful to someone else.

The most rewarding moments are often when a person suddenly sees a problem or possibility more clearly—and leaves better equipped to act.

People and the work.
I am especially interested in the space between people and the thing that needs to happen. Businesses, properties, investments, organizations, and missions all require people. Good leadership has to care for the whole person while remaining honest about the work.
When I do that well, I believe I am loving my neighbor well.

Leadership writing →The work is not merely directing assets or assigning tasks. It is helping people understand purpose, exercise judgment, take responsibility, and grow into leaders who can act well without constant supervision.

My Christian faith is the foundation of how I seek to live, lead, and invest in people. Following Jesus shapes my understanding of purpose, responsibility, and what it means to love my neighbor.
Discipleship is one of the most rewarding ways I put that faith into practice. Sometimes a relationship begins with mentoring and grows into conversations about faith and following Christ. I work closely with a small number of people at a time, but I am also glad to meet someone and help connect them with another mentor. These relationships are freely offered and depend on a shared desire to learn and grow.
